Inner city kids face a unique set of challenges that can impact their mental health and wel-being. Poverty, violence, and trauma are just a few of the issues that manny inner city kids must navigate on a daily basis.
Street Hope Alive and their team of volunteers are providing free art classes to kids in low-income neighborhoods, providing a safe and creative space for them to explore their emotions, build their self-confidence and work through difficult experiences.
It’s through their unique network of relationships that Street Hope Alive is able to provide a much-needed resource for children who don't have access to traditional therapy that live in the inner city of Paterson, NJ.
Since 2017, Street Hope Alive has been meeting the needs of inner-city youth and their families lining in the 4th Ward of Paterson, NJ through a variety of activities and curriculum. Their ultimate goal is to promote personal development, spiritual renewal and community restoration with a gospel focus.
