The Situation.

FMG Leading is searching for someone with expertise in Hospitals and Health Systems, Life Sciences/Pharma or Healthcare Technology to drive practice metrics of new client acquisition (revenue), existing client management (revenue growth), gross margin, and blended utilization.

The Opportunity.

Supported by the firm’s Strategy & Operations, Principals and Marketing & Sales functions, this leader will have a voice in shaping FMG Leading’s strategy and growth plans and will be responsible for oversight of the team that delivers consulting services to healthcare clients.

Effective leadership in this position will drive practice metrics of: new client acquisition (revenue), existing client management (revenue growth), gross margin, and blended utilization; requiring mastery of four distinct areas:

1. Eminence. • Speaking as the “face” of FMG Leading to the market they represent. • Thought leadership (speeches, publications, interviews, white papers, etc.)

2. Growth. • The Practice Lead will be responsible for driving the business development agenda, directing organizational energy toward the intersection of market needs and FMG’s product/service offerings. • Maintenance and growth of revenues within existing client base. • Nurturing key relationships and referrals to strategically expand our client portfolio.

3. Client Delivery. • The Practice Lead will be Executive Sponsor on critical client deliveries, and will serve as large-scale change architect within multi-year Tier 1 clients (with FMG’s Principals as needed and appropriate). • Subject matter expertise in coaching, large-scale change and/or strategy formulation will allow the Practice Lead to continue to maintain client-presence at C-level in select clients.

4. Team Leadership. • Responsible, with the CEO, for talent acquisition to staff engagements. • Coaching and development of consulting talent as needed/appropriate. • Recruitment of Senior Consultants as needed.
